i have a few weeks until college starts and i don't know what to do. i have a few weeks until i quit my job and i don't know how long i can live without a source of income. i have a few weeks until the day i'm scheduled for court and i don't know what's going to happen.
i feel like i'm going beserk. but hopefully, maybe...
maybe i would be less nervous if i go to orientation later this week. maybe i can find a way to earn money for school if i do extremely well. maybe the cop wouldn't show up to court or the judge would rule in my favor.
i better hang on to these maybes. they keep me from going beserk.
optimism. that's the key.

I hate the times when i feel grown up and look back at my life and realize, "what the hell was i thinking?!" Like today, when i'm bored and trying to find things to do online, i decide to give jippii a visit, only to find that most (if not all) of the people there are complete perverts / sluts. I can't believe that i was addicted to that site my freshman year, even though i have never participated in that online sexual stuff. It's not that i'm against sex or anything, but i'm against people making it such an open issue. Like guys broadcasting that they're erect 24/7 and girls claiming their double D's. It makes me think, "what's the world coming to?" Or maybe it has always been there and i just haven't been exposed to it. Even joking around about sexuality needs to be kept among friends. It bothers me that people are abusing the issue like it's something you do just for the heck of it--to sound cool or to satisfy those who can't get any. It disgusts me --there's better reasons to have sex.

nothing gets better:
1. Spring break for me is basically spring cleaning and studying.
2. My mom is pushing for a "family vacation" even when relations aren't well.
3. Boyfriend leaving for NYC for over half of spring break.
4. No food to eat.
5. No money to spend.
6. The possibility of going to prom is gradually seeming bleak.
7. The "red light" is late, and if it were to come, it would come smack in the middle of spring break.
8. I still have to go to work.
9. No workout buddy, so it seems like i'll get fat until my boyfriend gets back.
10. Spring break is going to suck.
Yes. I'm having a wonderful time.
